We started out buying buildings in kit form but soon found the same buildings were being used on most other layouts. Margo started kitbashing the kits. She also discovered Styrofoam, a construction material, and is now scratch-building most of our new structures. The barn and two long bridges are among her efforts. All the buildings are left out the year around. Figures and vehicles are taken off the layout. All our buildings are lit at night with low voltage landscape lights.
